Watauga Police Department's Central Communications is part of joint services and is located at the North Richland Hills Police Department.
Central Communications operates 24 hours a day/7 days a week and handles all incoming 911 and non-emergency calls, as well as assisting citizens in the Police Department lobby.
Central Communications dispatches all calls for service to police, fire, or ems personnel. Other duties include entering and confirming warrants, monitoring Police Department security system, and activating emergency alert sirens when needed.
