For centuries, organized sports have offered people the opportunity to learn the value of teamwork, discipline, camaraderie, and hard work. The Hector F. Garcia Community Center has several youth and adult teams available for both residents and non-residents.

Watauga Youth Volleyball

Your child can have a fun, safe and educational volleyball experience with the City of Watauga! Watauga offers a Fall and Spring league as well as various Various volleyball camps and clinics throughout the year.

Watauga Youth Basketball 

This league will help establish a good foundation of basketball and allow kids involved an outlet to remain physically and socially involved in a positive atmosphere. Players will have one scheduled night of practice with their teams each week. Games will be played on Saturdays.

​Northpark YMCA Youth Soccer

This  program is designed for children, ages 4-14. Participants will learn soccer fundamentals and good sportsmanship.Games are played at the Hector F. Garcia Community Center Fields.

Little Miss Kickball

NET Kickball strives to provide a safe and fun way for girls ages 4-18 to participate in a youth sport designed especially for girls to develop physical fitness and empowering self-esteem. Kickball is ideal for all skill levels. it's a sport that everyone can excel in!

Come out to learn the fundamentals of kickball, be active, meet new friends and have fun! Games will b e held at Watauga's Foster Village Park Fields.

Fossil Creek Little League 

Part of the Fossil Creek Little League Baseball, and the only area League sanctioned and insured by the Little League Baseball, this offers players the opportunity to compete for the Little League World Series!

The North Texas Baseball Club, Inc. (NTXBC) was founded in the fall of 2008 with fundamental principals in mind which provide an environment where competitive youth baseball players can maximize their potential on and off the field.
