Watauga residents will receive bulk and brush service one time per month. This service will occur on Monday and your scheduled day will be determined by which of the five (5) sections of the City you live in (see Service Map). Brush trimmings do not have to be tied and bundled but must not exceed four (4) feet in length or fifty (50) pounds in weight. Limbs shall be stacked with trunks parallel to the street and behind the curb, so as not to block the street nor the sidewalk. The stack can not be any larger than 5 X 5 X 5. Bulk refuse items are items that do not fit in your cart. However, hazardous waste, construction material, and remodeling debris will not be collected.
The Minnis Transfer Station located at 2120 Minnis Dr, Haltom City is also available Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m. Watauga residents can dispose of trash, bulk items, brush, or construction debris for $36.96 per ton. The Transfer Station also accepts, but is not limited to, tires, batteries, cardboard, recycling and electronics. You must bring a current water bill and have a valid drivers license.
