Whitley Road Construction Phase 1
Beginning March 23, 2023, through December 2023, the City will be working to construct the underground utilities and roadway from Hightower Drive to Oakhill Road. During this time, Whitley Road will be closed in this area. During Phase 1, we are requesting that the residents on Nanci Drive, Robin Drive and Kari Lynn Drive between Whitley Road and Quail Run to please place their trash carts on the south side of said streets.

Frontier Waste Solutions is the commercial and residential solid waste provider for the City of Watauga. Watauga residents will receive once a week trash, recycling and bulk pickup service on the same day. View the Service Map for all residential customers.

If your weekly trash accumulation exceeds the capacity of one cart, you can obtain additional trash and/or recycle carts by contacting Frontier Waste Solutions via email or at 888.854.2905.
New or existing commercial accounts. If you need to increase or decrease size or pickup days contact Frontier Waste Solutions via email or at 888.854.2905.
Frontier Waste Solutions will make regular collections on every holiday except for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day (December 25th) and New Years Day (January 1st). If the holiday falls on your service day, trash and recycling will be collected the following day. All service days following the holiday will be delayed by one day.

Physically Disabled Customers
Any utility customer that is physically disabled and can provide the necessary forms from a physician stating a disability, can request solid waste collections and recycling services from the front garage area of the residence. For more information, please contact the Utility Billing Office at 817.514.5705.
Senior Citizen Discount
Residents who are 65 years of age or older can qualify for a Senior Citizen Discount upon presentation of proof of age, such as a driver's license or birth certificate.
